After my story Andrew did something unusual. He began pushing our lunch plates, used napkins and plastic ware aside, creating a clear space between us across the table.

Perhaps he will offer his hands to you in comfort and compassion and understanding and possibly even to pray with you? Or at least in sincere friendship honoring what has just passed between you both, in such honesty and openness?
