My March, 2018 TEDx Talk at UNCA was an energizing and enervating experience all at once.

"Good Vibrations: Less Drugs, More Music" may surprise you since I share some personal info I have not mentioned before.

Let me know if you learned anything new.  Or have anything to add.

Robin, awesome presentation! Thank you for being such a talented musician, therapist, writer and woman. Thank you for sharing. I will never forget that night you let me read parts of your book. It was the highlight of the conference. Please take care. Love always, Lyris

HI Lyris, thank you for your kind words. I will never forget reading in to the night with you dutifully listening to my chapters! Such a loving act on your part. I am coming down the finish line for book # 2. Who knew,eh? Are you still doing CMP work? I forgot to mention that you can share the TEDx with as many as you see fit. The word needs to get out there! Love, Robin

Great job, Robin! As a fellow CMP, I found this to be an excellent presentation on what therapeutic music is all about.

Robin, I was fascinated (entranced) by this talk. It helped me better understand how and why I have always been so deeply affected by music. I recently had Deep Brain Stimulation surgery for an essential tremor in my right hand. The part that works with the battery in my chest was placed under the skin behind my left ear. I feel sure that must have something to do with the nerve you mentioned that connects with every part of the body and also because the tremor originates in the brain--fascinating!! I am so thankful for your disclosure of your battle with opioid withdrawal and that you survived it. I cannot imagine going through this, but God still has plans for you and your enormous talent. You are such a blessing!! I will continue to follow your journey. Much love, Joyce

Dear one, I pray that the DBS is working to reduce or cure your tremor. And it must be placed near the Vagus nerve I talk about and that you mentioned. Book # 2 coming along with release date in Nov. I start excerpts next month. Such joy and such hard work! I know my brain must be staying young with all this concentration. God is working me for sure! Be well and I forgot to tell you that you can share the TEDx with as many as you wish. The info needs to get out there! Love, Robin
